Helping You Navigate Toronto’s Housing Market
I’m a Toronto real estate broker and the President of Realosophy Realty. I help buyers and sellers navigate one of Canada’s most competitive housing markets with clarity and confidence. For sellers, I use modern, high-impact marketing strategies to ensure their homes stand out in a competitive environment. For buyers, I offer straightforward, data-driven insights to help them make smart, informed decisions—without the guesswork or sales spin.
Advocating for a Fairer Housing System
I’ve never been afraid to challenge the status quo. In 2015, I testified on behalf of the Competition Bureau of Canada—against my own industry—to make home sales data publicly accessible, something Canadians now benefit from every day. Today, I continue to advocate for policies that prioritize homes for families rather than turning them into investment vehicles. That advocacy is reflected in my latest report, The Great Sell Off: How Our Homes Became Someone Else’s Business, which explores how Canada’s housing system is being reshaped—and what needs to change to restore balance.
Research That Informs Real Policy
I hold a BSc in Economics from the University of Toronto, and an MSc and Doctor of Business Administration through a joint program between the University of Reading and the University of Toronto. My doctoral research examined how investor activity influences house prices across different neighbourhoods. I began publishing housing market research in 2017 with a widely cited report titled Freeholds on Fire that identified a speculative housing boom in Toronto, driven by investor demand in the suburbs. Since then, I’ve continued to produce data-driven analysis and have presented my findings to the Bank of Canada, the International Monetary Fund, and Statistics Canada. My goal is to bring rigorous, honest insights to a housing market that too often puts profit ahead of people.
